Welcome to Searchlight, a survey through Scripture with Pastor John Corson.

It is our desire to bring you a systematic study of the entire Bible,

chapter by chapter, book by book.

On our last Searchlight program, we began a teaching that could be life-changing for many of us. The teaching

is from Acts Chapter 15, where Paul and Barnabas are discussing an important issue with the elders

in Jerusalem. The issue is basically grace versus law. Paul and Barnabas were preaching the grace

of God, but others were coming after them and telling the

new Christians that they also needed to keep regulations such as circumcision.

As we pick up the teaching today, Paul is making a defense of grace before the elders.

Let's now join Pastor John for our teaching and see how this issue also directly applies to us.
