Hello and welcome to not another one, the podcast with me, Steve Richards, Tim Montgomery, Ian, Martin and Miranda Green, except Miranda Green isn't with us today. She's on the M3 and I'm

ending off for her holiday, but us three, we're just so hooked on politics. We are here

to try and make sense of it all with all of you. And what we're going to do is we're going to

briefly, I mean, there's so much around,

we're going to briefly look at the implications of the Birmingham Binstrike with those

graphic images across many newspapers and on television. A bit about Vance, a bit if we've got

time on the betting scandal, which so traumatised

Rishi Suma, Nakh, amongst many other traumas during the general election. But our main focus

is going to be on the politics of the British steel drama, the degree to which public ownership appears to be coming back into

public fashion or political fashion, or is it? And is privatisation becoming less revered as a route

towards delivery? So that would be our kind of main topic. But before all of that,

I've got to tell you, Ian and Tim, we've had an email from...

Brilliant email, absolutely brilliant. Yeah.

Yeah, yeah. Which is a data analyst and he's Stephen Lydyard.

And he spent a great deal of time analyzing all our mentions on the podcast of Margaret Thatcher.

And it is really, well, I mean, he must have listened to the many times, which we urge you all to do.

So I'm just going to summarize what he has discovered

through his deep probing he's divided it by the way Steve did he was it a computer model he

must have used he didn't sit there counting with the abacus did he well let's put it this way

I hope it was a computer.

Because if he has listened with a pen and paper,

I think brilliant that he clearly is.
