point look at culture from a Christian worldview, I'm John Stone Street with the point. Since 2008, those who mark none in the religious

affiliation category have been the fastest-growing religious group in America.

However, new analysis from Professor Ryan Berg suggests that these numbers have perhaps

stabilized maybe even dropped in the last few years. Data from Pugh found that the 2023 percentage

of Americans who claim to be quote unquote nuns is now back to the

20 levels or 28 percent. Of the many causes for the shift Birch thinks that the rise

in nuns was most likely due to the marginally religious switching to no affiliation at all.

And I quote, eventually there weren't that many marginally attached folks anymore.

All you had left with a very committed religious folks who likely won't become nuns for any reason. The loose topsoils been

scooped off and hauled away, leaving nothing but hard bedrock underneath. Well, whatever the cause,

this is another sign that secularism seems to be running out of gas and that only the most deeply

committed believers will be sticking with a church. I'm John Stone Street.
