So I don't know when it is that men or I should say women start to be skeptical about

dating and men in general but our intern Annie is here right now because there is a guy

within their group that is so perfect that she doesn't trust it. There must be

something wrong. Yeah this is actually a situation that my friend group has been in multiple times and it could just be because we're always so skeptical of men.

Sorry.

But yeah, we earned it.

My friend started hanging out with this guy and he's doing everything right, you know, they're hanging out, he's complimenting her, he's very conversational and communicative with her and he's doing everything right and you

know she's getting excited about it and anytime the girls get together you know she's

telling us everything and we're getting excited with her but it always turns into okay is it good

because it's good or is there some kind of alternative motive and as a friend you

know like our group is extremely tight-knit.

So when one of us come with, you know, some kind of concern,

we're always team friend, like listen to your gut.

But for this particular friend, it's so reoccurring you know she's always I don't know if it's

just like too much of a shelter but I don't know at what point do I say you know

maybe don't focus so much on sheltering your heart and put yourself in a little bit of an uncomfortable situation

because I feel like she's missed out on some potentially good guys just over the fact that she wants to protect her heart.

Yeah, because vulnerability and relationships, that's when you get to the deep stuff and the good stuff.

Why do you think she's a guarded person in relationships?

I'm not sure I just think like past experiences and also experiences from friends she's just kind of more closed off?
