Something that had, well, I wouldn't say it had passed me by, but it certainly hadn't struck me in the solar plexus with the force that it did yesterday as I strolled through London's leafy suburbia and noticed that cafe society was booming once again.

Now, for those of you who are interested in views from perspectives other than your own,

if you're not routinely in central London at the moment,

and of course not many people are, even those who habitually would have considered it to be part of the daily grind,

yesterday felt like a tipping point,

but I think in smack in the middle of this city,

it felt more like a tourist-driven tipping point

than a resident-driven tipping point.
