The Big 12 should not let the SEC and the Big 10 get away with what it's trying to get away with in this expanded college football playoff.

So this has had me all bent out of shape since the weekend. But here's the deal. I had my third daughter on Sunday. So I was able to get you a basketball reaction show to Saturday's games for those of you that watch the show on YouTube and Facebook Live and on the podcast, but I have not been able to get to

this football stuff that we like to do as well throughout the week. So here I am ready to just

let it rip on the overrated Big Ten and the arrogant SEC. And that's what I would call each of those

conferences as we get this conversation started.

The SEC is not overrated.

The SEC is the best college football conference in the country.

However, the thought of the SEC in the Big Ten getting potentially two automatic buys in a theoretical 14-team college football playoff is absolutely

ludicrous. So right now, if you don't know where we're at, we're expanding to a 12-team

college football playoff in 2024, right? We all know that by now. Makes sense. You're going to have

the top five conference champions who will get to the. It makes sense. You're going to have the top five conference champions

who will get to the playoff and then you're going to have seven at large teams. That's cool.

Seven teams basically picked by the same committee that has picked, you know, the four team

playoff for the better part of a decade now. So we get it. We're all on the same page. We all

understand it. Well, now there's

been these rumblings that have come out that have suggested the playoff committee is considering

going to 14 teams. However, one of the catches is that there will be a buy, and well, theoretically,

the SEC and the Big Ten want this,
