So we have been playing Sonic Racing Cross Worlds, and we wanted to tell you guys what we thought of it so far. Coming from the world's biggest Sonic Hater. Oh, no. What do you think? What do you think? Be honest. This game is coming out soon. This game's coming out in about a week, and this game's been getting a lot of buzz. A lot of people have been really excited for this game.

There have been previous Sonic Racing Games.

But this one in particular seems to be maybe getting a bigger audience.

It was kind of this narrative of, well, Mario Kart World isn't quite the traditional Mario Kart experience I want.

Sega was really fanning the fires of that with this ad that they put out the other day. I know. So I think there's kind of a new audience that's kind of looking at this of like, all right, Mario Kart World, that's cool. But if I just want a cart racer where I'm going, you know, lap to lap, more this is it. Yeah, yeah.

And that was a lot of sort of people's complaints or dissatisfaction with some of the new

patches that they did for Mario Kart World.

And Mario Kart World's been out for a couple months as well.

Maybe people are looking for a more traditional, like, cart racing experience to fill that void a little bit. So maybe it's coming out at just the right time. But we've been playing the demo, which is out now. Yes. And we've actually been liking the game quite a bit. Yes. Yeah, the demo is out. We've been playing that. Like I said, the full game is out in about a week. Kind of an interesting path for this game on Nintendo Platform. So there's a Nintendo Switch version. That's what's going to be out next week. That's the demo that we have been playing. There is a Switch 2 version coming, but it's not going to be out next week. That's right. Sega is saying it's going to be out this holiday. They don't have a firm date yet, but you can just get a $10 upgrade.

When it comes down. If you get the Switch version to get that.

And there's actually a physical version that's coming early next year. Not a game key card. That's not a game key card. So if you want to wait, that might be a good way to go. So kind of an interesting rollout, a little bit staggered. Staggered. So, you know, whether the switch version is a solid version or not, that's something that we want to touch upon as well.

I think that's the highest. What did Mario Kart World get on Metacritic? Where did it land after all these months? I don't know. Yeah, but it was probably around the 80 range as well.
