to hit close to home.

with parents.

Are we A-holes for not wanting to spend large chunks of time with our family?

Let me explain.

I live in a small town with my husband and sister and my parents used to live about

10 minutes down the road.

They ended up moving to the Caribbean during COVID back in 2020 and now they travel back

twice a year to visit for a month at a time.

They are retired so they have tons of flexibility to travel wherever they want, whenever they

want.

But they choose to come and visit us often, which is really great.

The only problem is we are finding the whole month visit to be quite taxing.

A bit of context to why we are not so happy with their presence for these big chunks of

time.
