Final weekend before Biden leaves office, Republicans will have the House, they will have the Senate,

they will have the Supreme Court, they will have the presidency,

and with that control of every executive branch, and they have majorities in the legislature that are much larger in 26 states, most of them, super majorities.

So the excuses are over with from our vantage point.

Except excuses is all you are going to hear on every other show.

I want to do kind of a free-for-all Friday, tighten up some loose ends from the week,

some just final information on the Israel deal, get back to

Congress, what's going on with spending, taxes, budget, and some nuggets from some of the

confirmation hearings in the Senate of Trump's nominees, his cabinet nominees,

but I want to preface this and lead off with a theme that explains everything that is going on today in politics.

Everything you are observing could be understood with the following theme.

Or really, I would say the following question.

Is politics a means to an end or an end in itself?

Is it a means to policy outcomes, mission-oriented objectives?
