Welcome back to the Dershow, as you know, usually when I speak about a subject, I know what

I'm going to say.

I have an opinion and I'm going to state it very strongly.

Tonight I'm going to speak about an issue that I'm just not so sure about and I'd be

interested in your input.

I'm sure about one aspect of it, but I'm not so sure about whether or not a speaker

that asked Nancy Pelosi should have gone to Taiwan.

Let me make clear my views on Taiwan.

I think Taiwan is a wonderful, great democracy and America should support their remaining

a democracy.

I favor the two-state solution.

There should be China and there should be Taiwan just because there was once part

of one country.

It doesn't mean that, quote, the territorial integrity of China, you know, good marriage

is good, but good divorces is just as important in so many countries.

In the Pakistan, the former Yugoslavia have broken up into component parts and it's been

generally much better.

So my preferred solution would always be Taiwan should be an independent country.

It should be half-status all over the world.

If the UN, everywhere else, that's not what the world has been saying.

The world is afraid of China.

So the one China policy, the one state solution, has been the one that has been accepted,
