What's up everyone? Welcome back. Day two with Jared of Upcycle and today we're

talking about something that is probably going to spark a little debate between

maybe me and Jared. Probably not. I think we share similar views on this but maybe maybe you and someone else and

gardening world the farming world and that is does it make sense to be certified

organic or what are maybe some bad things

about being certified organic?

Because I think all the time we hear about organic produce

automatically being better than conventionally grown produce.

And I think that's a bit of a simplification

that does not consider all of the issues at hand and so something that I'd like to share is let's say I'm walking around the farmers market down here in San Diego,

there's actually quite a bit of growers that do not advertise their product as organic

and they do that for a specific reason.

And when I ask them they have a lot to say about it.

So I'm going to let Jared hop in here for a second

and talk about some of the pros to organic growing

and organic certifications

and maybe some of the things that people don't know about as some of the

downsides or the dark sides of it.
