Summary

While praying on a rooftop, Peter receives a vision in Acts 10:9-20 that would interestingly impact the early church and Christianity to this day. As we study Peter’s vision and its implications, we examine how the Lord can still give us dreams and visions as we seek Him and how we can have confirmation that they are from Him.

0:19.3	We come to a passage here that I think is going to be helpful for us.
0:24.5	Are you a person who's had a vision or a dream from God? Now, some of you are like,
0:30.7	Brett, you're wacko. That's just so wacko and weird, but it's not. I'm just going to tell you.

0:38.5	When I was a young kid, you know, we had a church and the Lord was using it. It was in the Jesus
0:42.1	movement in the, you know, 70s when I was a kid. I remember there were a lot of hippies in
0:46.7	Southern Oregon that were coming to Christ in our church. And they were all, you know,
0:50.1	coming out of the drug culture and the drug scene. And so it was really cool.
0:55.6	You know, these hippie people, my parents were hippies.
0:58.2	My pastor wasn't necessarily a hippie.
1:00.6	But hippies were drawn and they came and accepted Christ.
1:04.1	But with that came some weirdness.
1:06.9	And probably a little too much LSD.
1:09.6	Maybe a little too much smoking weed too.
1:12.6	Oh, Brett, don't get on the marijuana thing.
1:14.5	It's scientifically proven that marijuana doesn't slow the brain process.
1:22.7	I know who you guys are.
