I don't know about you, but I love a repeat guest. Somebody that I've already talked to that I'm

comfortable with. We've got some history. And this week, I have my friend Abby back on the show.

You may know her as N is for Mama online. She is the author of a book by that title. And then she

also has Heart is Not the Same Thing as Bad. And today we're talking about her third installment in her

motherhood series, You Bet Your Stretch Marks, which is just the cutest title ever. And we got into

what that means, where did that come from? But I can tell you that the overarching theme of all of her

books is that motherhood is worth it. It is worth the hard. It is worth the things that feel bad,

but she'll convince you that they aren't. It's worth the sacrifice and the refinement and the time

and the energy, even when it feels like it's not working, when it feels like the things that

you're doing aren't sticking or making an impact.

And that is largely what we talked about today.

It's for the moms that are kind of in the trenches that are doing the things that are putting

one foot in front of the other and that feel like they just continue to come up short.

And I love getting to sit down with Abby because she is a mother of 10.

She's two adult children. And then she also has toddlers.

So she literally has wisdom and lived experience for the entire gamut.

And I love getting to sit with her because I can tell her the things that I am currently in process on or that I'm going through with my kids.

And she's going

to have wisdom to speak into it but not from that this is how I did it this is how you should do it

way she's a huge believer that what works for one family isn't necessarily going to work for the

next but she is always ready and willing with wisdom, just wisdom and solidarity

to give you. And she is going to point you back to Jesus every time. So if you feel like you're
