So it's just us three reflecting on the dramas of the week and what's to come.

Miranda, I think you were in Brighton for the Lib Dems.

I was.

It was absolutely glorious weather.

I swam in the sea a lot,

which I seem to be making a habit of looking back at shore this year and pondering

the politics. But I mean, the Lib Dames were absolutely gleeful, I have to say, but they also know

that they've got to try and sort of build from the 72. But they think they can go even further.

And I do think there's a kind of interesting question about the opposition parties all sort of jostling for space now because the Tory party looks so weak.

And, you know, trying to think if there are further inroads to make, which you would think was incredible, really, with that sort of historic high of 72.

But they were, they think there's all to play for.

So that was kind of interesting. Yeah. Well, I want to ask, I'm about to speak at the Apple Door Book Festival,

which is a beautiful part of Devon. And yeah, I've been swimming as well and also thinking

about politics. It's obviously good to get into the sea and come up with profound insights.

By the way, shortly, our kind of main theme, obviously, with the build-up to the Labour conference, by the time some of you hear

this, it might even have opened. It opens on the weekend in Liverpool. We'll be kind of

exploring why it's so rare for Labour to win power let alone landslides.

The mood has been sour in the build-up. I've got no doubt once it starts, it will be quite

a celebratory mood, but it's been sour. Is that just a media manufactured sourness or something

deeper? That's one of the things we'll be exploring. But Miranda, as you were at the Lib Dems, you say they've got the 72 seats. And it's interesting,
