I want to start today with this.

Our wishes have been answered.

Finally, we don't have to worry about watching Justin Fields being subjected to constant hits

and mistakes and horrible play by the players around him, right?

No offensive line.

No bad receivers.

No weapons, no nothing.

How were we supposed to evaluate Justin Fields?

How could we even put a point on what he did in 2022?

It's pretty difficult to me, and I could understand people's trepidation.

I saw a lot of responses today talking about how we still can evaluate Fields,

which is partially true.

I just have to say, though, I'm very happy that the

Bears finally made the correct decision in seating him for the quote-unquote rest of the season,

one game left. I think this was long overdue, and we talked about this on this program a couple

of weeks ago. I went on the tape member Lies a couple of weeks ago as well, and we talked about

what would it tank for Justin Fields to sit for the rest of the year. Is it a good move?

Now, the consensus was there would be learning, right? There would be progress in playing in

these meaningful type gangs. How would he respond to all this adversity? How is his body going to

hold up, taking multiple hits? but the bears play hard for him despite

not playing for anything. As though, all that stuff was negative. And the bears kept losing,
