and when we make Jesus the sinner everything gets better be encouraged

today as joyce shares how we can pursue God first and grow a deep satisfying

relationship with him now here's Joyce with today's teaching and I'd like you

go to Matthew 7 21 not everyone who says to me Lord Lord will enter the kingdom of

heaven but he who does the will of my father, who is in heaven. Talk is cheap. It's action that counts. I can say, God, you're first in my life. You mean more to me than anything. But if I don't prove that by putting him first

in the things that are important to me,

which is money, time, and decisions,

then all it is is just talk.

If there's anything the devil doesn't want you to do,

it's to put God first.

God's a jealous God.

He's a consuming fire.

And he burns up stuff

that's in our life that's between us and him.

James 4.

Verse 4.

James chapter 4, verses 4 and 5. You are like unfaithful wives, having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God.

We're married to God. Can you get a hold of that today?
