Look, when you break up with somebody, does that mean that you have to lose all the friends

that you guys either made together or that you met through him or the X it does.

Done, God, X, everybody did.

I think it depends on the breakup man.

That's our question our intern Courtney has.'s going on yeah so I am just I'm

having a hard time figuring out if I'm in a college state of mind and this is

something that 21-22-year-olds do and or if this is something that is actually happening in adult life and that's kind of where I'm having the conversion because I'm not sure if this is something that adults really do or if it's just a mature thing

to let the friends go. So I have an ex-boyfriend. We dated for a little over a year

and we both had about five or six friends that we brought into one big friend group and it was amazing.

We all got along like it was like 12 of us we went out everywhere together and that was for a little over a year and we ended up breaking up it was not necessarily a bad breakup but he now lives like three hours away and I still keep in contact with quite a few of the friends I met from his side.

A few of them are guys, a few of them are girls, and I've gotten a lot of backlash

from either like a boyfriend after him or even some of my current friends and they're just like really

questioning why I'm still in contact with them and for me it's like if you have never

personally wronged me I don't want to end my friendship with you, especially where, you know, at my age, we don't get a lot of friends because we're going through college, so we lose a lot of friends, we make a lot of friends, especially when you of friends especially when you grow up I mean you

guys know you don't keep in contact with a lot of people from my age and so I'm

really just questioning if this is a college state of mind or if I'm it's really like not allowed but like if it's okay. So I want to

clarify so it's not your ex that's like why are you still talking to my friends

blah blah he's fine with it. It's your other friends that think it's weird

and are calling you out for it,

and guys, new guys that you are dating
