0:10.0	I'm 11. Morgan, welcome to the program. Hi, Dr. Laura. Thanks for taking my call. Thank you. What can I? My question.
0:20.0	My question for you is that I am wondering if it's time to call it off with my boyfriend. We have been dating for almost five years and we are both 26 years old.
0:34.0	We started dating our senior year of college and once we graduated college, he followed me to live in California.
0:42.0	At the four year mark, I gave him an ultimatum. I said, you have one year to propose to me or else we need to call it off. And he agreed to that.
0:55.0	And so now that we are approaching that one year mark, we've been having some serious discussions.
1:01.0	And he basically is saying that he doesn't know if he will be happy living in California because he wants to move back home to his home state.
1:12.0	So we are at a crossroads.
1:15.0	And I am wondering what your advice is. Is it time to call it off?
1:23.0	So moving to his home state or what have you is not an option for you.
1:30.0	I have always told him that it could be an option but I'm not going to.
1:35.0	I don't want vague stuff. How can anybody make a decision when they're given vague information?
1:43.0	Maybe yes, maybe no, you can't make a decision when another person is being vague with you. So I'm asking you the blunt question.
1:50.0	To marry him, are you willing to move to his state? Yes or no? No. Then it's over.
2:02.0	But don't play games with each other. It's not nice. And things always end up ugly.
2:11.0	If you don't want him enough to move to his home state, then don't be pissy that he doesn't love you enough to stay in your state.
2:21.0	It's equal where you live is more important than the person you're living with.
2:27.0	So yes, it's over because neither one of you loves the other person as a priority over geography, which is understandable, especially when you have kids.
2:37.0	Most people want their own parents and extended family near them.
2:44.0	It's not going to happen. So it's time to move on.
2:48.0	Not beat each other to death, not spend another year arguing and manipulating.
2:53.0	If you've cared about each other at all these last four years, then Huggins say goodbye nicely.
