Get it the birth show good mom or bad mom kasty I'm having some real trouble establishing

boundaries with my children and I'd like some advice because I'm actually an imp. I don't know what the answer is. So long story short, we had a bunch of trees fall on our house.

One went through the roof, we moved into an Airbnb, and the kids are in bedrooms that they're not familiar with.

They're in beds that aren't their own.

We can't really go in and out of the house due to mold issues

and we actually don't know for sure if it's structurally sound or not so we can't be

walking around in there so we can't bring a lot of their stuff over.

A sidebar, this has gone on for how long and by the way has the insurance company

started to help out yet are they still being a-holes?

They're still being a-holes. It's been four months and we're having to move again because now we're going out of pocket. So we're trying to find a new place to move into this week. So it's only going to get worse. So my kids have been very like when the tree hit the house the whole thing shook. I mean it was we have a metal roof. It was a very very loud. We are super lucky. We are all in the house. They were fine. But obviously that is very scary. We had to take them out in the middle of the night. The firefighters came, told us not to go back in. We went to a hotel. Then we went to this new Airbnb. Long story short, they're not liking sleeping alone, right?

They're in queen-sized beds alone.

We've tried to make it homey, and my husband and I,

looking at what we felt like our kids needed

needed parents to go to sleep next to them for the beginning

to make them feel comfortable but it has morphed into an every night habit

and it is very frustrating where either if we do get them to go to bed by themselves,

I wake up in the middle of the night screaming and then come into our bed.

Now, the other night I was putting my daughter down to bed and I started to put my foot down because what's happening is it's making me stay up later and later which means I'm not getting good sleep.

So I'm exhausted the next day and I know that's a good reason for it but I said I can't lay down to you

with you tonight and I've always told my kids I expect them to listen and follow my

instructions but they can always ask me why.

You know, and I will be happy to explain it to them in terms they can understand
