So I was a believer for about 15 years of my life, and I was wondering if it was normal to struggle with doubt as a believer?

Well, it's absolutely normal is what I would say.

Everybody doubts. Actually, doubting is normal no matter what your personal convictions are. You know, C.S. Lewis, when he was reflecting on Christianity, said, you know, there are times when it just, Christianity seems

so unlikely. But then he says, when I was an atheist, I thought lots of times that atheism

seemed so unlikely. So it's interesting, the great C.S. Lewis is acknowledging his own times of doubt. And this is because we're fallen creatures. We're not perfect in our knowledge about things. We do the best we can. But also, we're not just fallen creatures, Jen. We live in a fallen world. And so as a result, we encounter all kinds of harsh, difficult circumstances. Unfortunately, sometimes Christians have talked about Christianity as if, if you are really spiritual, you'd be able to dodge those bullets.
