This sunny edition is called preaching to the choir where I talk about God, my faith,

and things that I'm going through, difficulties I'm facing, a more vulnerable episode

of the podcast, really of all the content that I put out.

I have traumatic brain injury, TBI, as diagnosed from veteran affairs via my military experience,

lots of breaches, lots of concussive blast, a lot of exposure.

And I have felt, whether it's CTE, whatever you want to call it, diagnosis-wise,

that my brain's not the same brain that I've operated with my entire life.

Forgetfulness, fog, aggression, things I'm not accustomed to seeing in my life through my life experience.

This tied to personal dilemma and issues that I'm going through, including the fight

over just being a part of my children's lives as their mother pushes me out, it's been hard.

It's been difficult to say the least.

If you're not familiar with Ibegain, neither was I.

I'm more familiar now, vaguely.

It derives from a plant, the bark of that plant that grows in Central Africa, and has profoundly

demonstrated 80 to 90 percent reductions in post-traumatic stress, depression, anxiety symptoms, even combating addiction.

Same numbers. I mean, SSRIs, benzos, opioids don't even come close and there are psychedelic characteristics with this that was not my experience

as far as like the contrasting argument would be oh these guys are just going to get high. There is no getting high.
