Hello. And I'm sweet little blue-eye, blonde hair, Matt Mullins. We're two ministers and two friends

who love telling the stories of the Bible, and we are taking a bit of a detour right now.

We're in a series where we are answering big questions in life, Todd. And today,

we've got a big one, kind of a scary one. When I was in eighth grade, we were reading

persuasive speeches. And one of those, this is in public school, it was Jonathan Edwards

sinners in the hands of an angry God. And the spider,

I don't know if you remember this from your middle school, elementary school days,

the illustrations he used, it was like, it was powerful. And it was very, it was very scary.

So today's question is, is God angry with me? Matt, you're right. So we have

jumped into a new series, big questions. And that's what we're going to attempt to answer today.

And so is God angry with me? Well, in order to answer this, Matt, I think it would be helpful

for us to look at a couple Bible verses, a couple

texts. The reality is there's a bunch of scriptures that we could run through, a bunch of ways

to share biblically how we can answer this, but I thought we would aim to answer it through

an Old Testament story and then a New Testament story. That's a good way to do it.

Yeah.

You know, so before we jump into God's word, I'd like to share this.

First, does God have anger in him?

Well, the answer is yes.
