0:57.6	So anyways, the biggest news of today is this report that broke last night that CBS News, through 60 Minutes,
1:06.5	had a special ready about some Venezuelans who were deported by the Trump administration to that El Salvadorian prison.

1:17.7	The terrible one where Christy Noem wore her like $50,000 watch and took a photo in front of a bunch of people in a cage.
1:25.5	But, you know, that's what you do when you go to a prison. That's normal person behavior, you know. Yeah. I mean, it is the lowstone behavior
1:31.2	that we're used to. But Barry Weiss, who is the new head of CBS News, who is from the pre-press,
1:40.4	which she founded, which is a right-wing media outlet, and now she's in charge of CBS
1:45.1	news, killed the story because she said it was quote-unquote, or no, that there were, quote,
1:51.2	unquote, problems with it. Now, the problem with that is that the reporter who worked on this
1:57.0	story sent a memo internally, which has been leaked, because of course, and said
2:02.5	that is not true.
2:03.4	In fact, that it had been through the process to make sure everything was good, like five
2:08.6	times.
2:09.4	The lawyers had seen it and said it was fine.
2:11.4	The source is checked out.
2:13.3	And for those you don't know, killing a story on 60 minutes with three hours before air is essentially unprecedented.
