Summary

In this bonus episode of The Daily Article Podcast, Dr. Jim Denison interviews John S. Dickerson, author of Jesus Skeptic.

Dickerson, the lead pastor at Connection Pointe Christian Church in the Indianapolis area, has a journalism degree and worked as a newspaper reporter while he was attending seminary.

In Jesus Skeptic: A Journalist Explores the Credibility and Impact of Christianity, he uses the techniques of an investigative reporter while addressing fundamental questions about Jesus’ existence and the impact of the movement he created.

“What became clear to me in my research is that Jesus not only lived, but also that he is without a doubt among the most influential humans to ever live, period,” Dickerson writes.

In concluding the book, he notes that his relationship with Jesus “has brought me consistent identity, security, purpose, fulfillment, peace and joy that I never experienced anywhere else in this world.”

Jesus Skeptic will answer many of the key questions posed by seekers who have not yet accepted Christ as their savior.
