Hello, dear listener and welcome back to a new season of owning it the anxiety podcast. It has been a minute and I'm delighted to be back. First up is a topic

that is something I've never explored before, but only when I was recording it. They realize

how significant it actually is when it comes to

every single person's experience of anxiety and that is the relationship between anxiety and bias.

So whether it's bias that we experience ourselves or whether it's bias that we project onto other

people, it's kind of at the root of all of the cultural issues that we have that drives so much anxiety

in our society and like right down to our personal experience as well. For this I'm joined by

Anu Gupta who wrote the incredible book Breaking Bias and we have a really interesting chat

about the role of bias in our life, the impact it has in us, why and how it causes anxiety, and if

It is, I mean, reading through it, it's a very lofty goal.
