Cryptocurrency has its devotees, its critics, and its outright enemies, at least a couple of whom

are in Congress.

How prominently will crypto and a more decentralized financial landscape figure into the race

for president?

Nick, there are a lot of different lawmakers across the ideological spectrum who are

bullish on crypto.

There are lawmakers who are highly negative on crypto and one in particular Elizabeth Warren has her as she calls it

anti-cripto army I think Kamala Harris is from Central California.

She's from the Bay Area.

She was Attorney General and a U.S. Senator and then Vice President, when I think about

tech and the opportunities that tech poses for great improvements in average people's lives, I got to think that serving as an

attorney general for the state of California, for serving as a U.S. senator from the state of California for serving as a US senator from the state of California

that you have to pick up at least some sympathy for your constituents who are

running and working for tech firms.

So I wonder if any of that bleeds over into her views of crypto.

One would hope that that would be the case, that having that

experience, having that history would maybe give her some insights into the

troubles one faces with innovating in a highly regulated space and what might need to happen going forward.
