us all kinds of stories, but there really is only one truth and is contained in the Word

of God. Jesus has revealed it to us. So let's get our minds aligned with it today. Just

slash support. Alright, today we're looking at John chapter 12 verses 9 through 11. And

you may have noticed the title today. I've called it irrational unbelief. We're going

to see an example of that today and then we're going to unpack what that really means.

Verse 9 says, when the large crowd of the Jews learned that Jesus was there, they came not

only on account of him, but also to see Lazarus whom he had raised from the dead. So the

chief priests made plans to put Lazarus to death as well. Because on account of him, many

of the Jews were going away and believing in Jesus. Okay, so we have this scenario where

there is quite a to do going on here. Jesus has kind of whipped the crowd into a frenzy, not

in a bad way, but simply because he did this amazing thing of raising his friend Lazarus

from the grave. Now you put yourself in their sandals for a moment. If you heard of something

like this going on and more and more people are telling you, yes, it really happened. I saw

him. I saw the guy who was dead and I saw I went to his funeral and then I saw him alive

later. And this guy Jesus did it. I mean, you would have some questions, wouldn't you? Wouldn't

you be intrigued and want to go and see for yourself this man who was once dead and now

...
