Hello, my friends. Welcome back. It is time for the morning mindset. No matter what

time of day it is for you, I hope you are ready to get your mind aligned with the truth

of God's work. Grab your Bible. Let's look at John chapter 12. We're going to be looking

at the same passage we looked at yesterday because there's an additional lesson I want

to draw out of here. That is very evident to me and I hope you'll see it by the time

we're done today. This is John chapter 12, verses 1-8. It says six days before the

Passover Jesus therefore came to Bethany, where Lazarus was whom Jesus had raised from

the dead. So they gave a dinner for him there. Martha served and Lazarus was one of those

reclining with him at table. Mary, therefore, took a pound of expensive ointment made from

pure nard and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped his feet with her hair. The house

was filled with the fragrance of the perfume. But Judas Iscariot, one of his disciples,

he who was about to betray him, said, why was this ointment not sold for 300 denari and

given to the poor? He said this, not because he cared for about the poor, but because

he was a thief and having charge of the money bag, he used to help himself to what was

put into it. Jesus said, leave her alone so that she may keep it for the day of my burial.

For the poor, you always have with you, but you do not always have me.

Now, friends, what I want to talk to you about today, which I think we see displayed for

us in great detail here, is the issue of hypocritical righteousness. Now, we all know what

a hypocrite is. A hypocrite is someone who says one thing, but actually under the surface

or behind the scenes is doing something else. Now, one of the things that I think is important

to know about hypocrisy, is that a person who's a hypocrite doesn't always know they're
