What's up, motivators? Welcome back to the formerly known as the Triathlon Taryn podcast, now the Taryn's Motive Method podcast.

As I mentioned to you a few weeks ago in our very last podcast, I'm not abandoning triathlon.

I am pro going on whatever endurance adventure really excites you. And I am still very

excited by triathlon and Iron Man and those types of big, hairy challenges, but I do want to broaden

out. That said, I was triathlon, Taryn, we are still going to pay attention to triathlon.

Today we have on five of the six Zwift Tri-Academy athletes for the past year,

who are some of the absolute best triathletes in the world.

We have Eric Engel from Wisconsin, who is the third overall male age grouper at the World 70.3 championships in

2021.

Kristen Yax from Oregon, who is a psychology professor, a mom, and a multiple-time age group

champion.

Rebecca Duxbury from the UK.

She's a full-time pharmacist while going from basically never doing triathlons to a multiple

time podium contender. Lucas Bosmans from Belgium, who is a police detective winner of several

beer miles. He wanted to make sure that we've got that in there. And the world age group

winner for his age category in 70.3 World Championship in 2019. Vanessa Murray from

Australia, who is a triathlon coach, and in the, get this, this is crazy. In the last seven

races she's done, she has been the overall female age group winner. Now, why I say we have on five of the six Zwift

Tri-Academy members is because Kansub's song from South Korea, who is a computer programmer

and a network engineer, doesn't speak English, but he's an awesome, awesome athlete, committed

Zwifter with a level 50 on the bike in Zwift and level 21 on the treadmill.

In his 50s, he's roughly in and around 10 hours for the Iron Man, so a really, really awesome athlete.
