It's the day after Media Day.

We've got 45 hours of interviews to transcribe.

So we're going to be busy the next few days.

But we did get a chance to see our fourth open practice of the preseason.

We had a, I mean, when you consider four open practices in a short period of time,

we've had an opportunity to see this team pretty thoroughly.

Brandon Wimbush struggled a little bit with a couple interceptions.

I think the coaching staff has a different perspective on what he's done.

Chip Long actually expressed that he was pretty happy with Brandon Winbush and what he did on Wednesday's practice.

But Robert Hainesie remains out on the offensive line. Tommy Kramer playing offensive tackle and Josh Lug getting snaps at right guard along with Trevor Ruland.

Guys, where do you want to start?

You know, I think we've probably dwelled on the whole Wimbush thing a little too much,

and I've tried to compensate with some stories here that try to explain the perspective of

the coaching staff and why he remains number one on the depth chart.

Well, I think that the media and fans' reaction to Winbush is a lot different than the

coaches, for starters.

You know, you talk to the staff sort of either in interviews or to the aside, and they

seem, I wouldn't say overly comfortable with Winbush, but they do see a guy who's improved.

Because how often are we out of practice and scouting Wimbush and thinking, all right, I really like how he adjusted out of this play into that play.

Zero times.
