Tim, you know, yesterday, I don't think any of us anticipated that there would be this big issue coming out of Brian Kelly's 20 minutes with us about the quarterback situation.

And I really don't think that he said anything that is necessarily controversial.

Some of it may have been taken that way.

But let's start with that quarterback situation. And he basically said to summarize that

Brandon Winbush is a starter. He definitely said that. But he's not going to hesitate to go to

Ian Book in a situation where Norning needs him. They're trailing, whatever, Wimbush is struggling, he'll go to

Book. And, you know, they have that luxury now because both of them established themselves last year.

Winbush more than Book, but obviously Book came through when they needed them against North Carolina

and in the Citrus Bowl against LSU. Give your perspective on what was said yesterday

because everybody's now interpreting

what Brian Kelly said and I think I think we're on to exactly what Brian Kelly was trying

to express yesterday.

Yeah, just first quickly speaking for others, I understand Notre Dame fans when they hear

two quarterback systems.

They think of Brian Kelly, the Kaiser Zaire train wreck.

That's one time that it didn't work very well for Brian Kelly.
