Well, Notre Dame had some business to take care about at USC, and they certainly took care of it.

49, 35 victory over the Trojans to move to 11-1, 10th straight wins, and Notre Dame is playoff-bound and hosting a first-round playoff game.

I guess we'll find that out for certain on Sunday, but it certainly looks like that.

USC, we're going to get into questions about why they struggled. I don't think that's a,

there's a great mystery there, but we'll get into that.

You know, there were some 90 some yards rushing by USC in the fourth quarter, which made the

stats a little bit out of whack, but ultimately it was on the scoreboard, the two pick sixes for

touchdowns. And Marcus Freeman, I mean, let's face it, guys, Marcus Freeman willed this team to 10

straight victories in an 11-1 record. Yeah, there's time to exhale for Notre Dame fans because

it was somewhere around Georgia Tech Navy where you thought this team deserves being the playoffs.

I hope they beat USC because that's the last, that's the last team that could take out Notre Dame talent

wise they hadn't seen that talent since Louisville talent did not beat them the one time they lost

this season so that was the trepidation all year long and we have questions about the defense

and what happened and I'll preface it by, I think two things were true all year long.

Notre Dame did not play great offenses, but Notre Dame still has a very good defense.

And their defense made the place to win the game.
