two-man booth today for Irish Illustrated Insider. Everybody's back from El Paso, a wonderful four or five days.

In the city of El Paso, they couldn't have been any more accommodating than they were

and the weather completely cooperated.

We now know why they call it the Sun Bowl.

We had no idea 13 years ago, but we do know why they called Sun Bowl now because if you go

back, Tim, if you look at, you go through their guide, a large majority of those games are in the 50s and 60s and sunny.

And the hospitality was great.

And oh, yeah, so was the performance by Notre Dame, a 40 to 8 winner over Oregon State.

It's a great setting.

And I think I wrote about this, wrote about a lot of things about this Sun Bowl already, Tim,

but it's really Notre Dame's, along with the camping world bowl, really, Norm is best bowl

performance in the post-Holtz era, which is both a compliment and not at all a compliment,

but it was a it was an A-plus all around by Notre Dame, offense, defense, and special teams and coaching were all great.

It was the easiest grades.

As I do, go through the season grades here today and tomorrow.

That was the easiest grading of all time because, boy, everybody clicked.

And that's what you want to see at the end of the year. to the Iowa State bowl game, the Campy World Bowl, and then we found out in retrospect,

that wind got a little better as Brock Purdy continued on his football career. But you don't

have normally a lot of, it hasn't been a lot of great ball performances by Notre Dame. And you

and I love the Sun Bowl. You and I were very happy when we found out if we couldn't go to a New

Year's Day Bowl, that the Sun Bowl was the one
