Our first podcast here in a couple weeks. A lot to talk about.

The NCAA gave college football permission to start bringing players back individually on June 1st.

Irish Illustrated had a story earlier in a week saying that Norty would be coming back on June 6th.

That, of course, like everything else, has been amended.

And we'll get into that a little bit more. It looks like it's going to be pushed back a little bit, especially with the NSA

oversight committee coming up with a plan or announcing that they will be coming up with a plan here

within the week. But June is right around the corner and football players will be coming back to the University of Nardham and many other places as well.

Just not as early as other places, and that's going to cause some angst.

But as Pete mentioned kind of before the podcast, as long as there is a reasonable cushion in terms of conditioning and, as Tim mentioned, quarantining

first. It's not that big of a deal. Now that an oversight committee is involved, you would hope

that, I don't know, say Arkansas doesn't have 87 off-season practices before the, before they go to

August training camp, because they're taking these things a little differently in some places.

Yeah, I just say, prepare to be frustrated if you're waiting for Notre Dame to come back and get the ball rolling in early June.

Yeah, I think it's, you know, Brian Kelly, I think maybe more Jack Swarverick has talked about the notion of competitive advantage.

And, you know, it's really, it's a good time to

sort of shelve that concept for a little bit. However, I think that's probably what's going to be

coming back, you know, that the people are going to be angsty about when teams are starting,

how many practices they're going to get. And there's no real solution for that.
