Guys, I was going to begin this segment with a question asked of us regarding Marcus Freeman's Saturday press conference wondering what we thought when he said

the word panic three times. It seemed a lot more relevant then until Tim Prester asked Marcus

Freeman the question of the day, would he consider taking over play calling? And there did not

seem to be Tim Priester a whole lot of panic or references to panic anymore now that he has

had time to digest and

reassess the situation no and you know the more the more i thought about it over the weekend or

over saturday night marcus freeman's not the type to panic and what he said today was that was

vintage marcus freeman it's like you're either going to you're either

going to cash it in or you're going to fight and Marcus Freeman's going to fight it collectively

you know this notion of getting rid of Chris Ash I get it they're struggling he's new golden was

great he's not doing a great job I get all of. But when you're in the position that these guys are,

and you've got seven days before your next game, panic is not going to help you. And so,

you know, he kept doing this collective thing. And that's who Marcus Freeman is. And that's what they've done.

They pulled it together. And it's everybody being honest and everybody being accountable. And that's who Marcus Freeman is. And that's what they've done. They pulled it together. So, no, he, well, he said, if I want to, if I want a certain defense run, I'll say Chris Ash, run this defense. He's a head coach. And that's how it works with

him. So I mean, I really, really appreciated the response. Like I was, I didn't know what kind of

answer I would get. I brought up Mike Elko as an example. And I know that we have a lot of people

saying other coaches do it. Well, he's not other coaches. He's Marcus Freeman. Just because other

coaches do it doesn't mean he's going to, that that's what's best for him and his team and what

he's going to do. So, you know, just the notion of so they do it, Marcus Freeman isn't going to

follow it that way. And it really comes down to this is a

collective effort. And Notre Dame's best chance to pull out of the problems that they have
