This is Irish Illustrated Insider podcast, July 29th, four days before the media meets with Brian Kelly and six days before the start of preseason practice 2019.

I'm Tim Prester with Tim O'Malley. It's the Tim and Tim show here today, a couple topics to talk about in

0:21.6

segment one before we get to a bunch of good questions. Some new blood among the people asking

0:28.3

questions are included in our listing here today on Monday, July 29th. But I did want to start

0:34.4

with, since you and I invested so much time and energy this summer into the ranking of 89 players.

0:40.7

We're happy that we came up with the idea of ranking them.

0:44.5

It was more fun for us to write, and I think it was certainly more fun,

0:47.8

especially as we got down to the last half dozen or two dozen or so for our readers to speculate as to who was where.

0:57.3

1:20.4

defense. And in our opinion, Julian O'Quara is the best football player on the team.

1:24.1

That's all it came down to for me. In fact, I had book third. I don't know if you ever heard. I had him second. I had him third. I had Kareem there. I really enjoyed it

1:31.9

because we started it in mid-spring, trying to start doing some rankings because that's what

1:36.2

you're watching. You're basing it on the spring, guy would move up a couple spots, and it's always fun to say this because I don't know who I would move down.

1:50.3

But I think I had pride at seven and you had him at eight.

1:53.4

I think I would move.

1:54.4

If I redid my rankings right now, just talking to you about your interviews with Coach Light and Coach Lee, I would move Pride up a couple

2:00.9

of spots.

2:01.9

But I think that falls under the category indispensable more than proven ability.
