It's Tuesday, July 23rd, and Nor Day football practice starts July 31st, eight days

when we have an opportunity to see the Irish and pads for the first time,

maybe some new uniforms along the way as well.

The big news, of course, here in recent days, Notre Dame really struck out pretty badly,

called third strike, losing out on Derek Meadows and Dylan Robinson.

Meadows goes to LSU and Robinson goes to Washington and that's completes at least a a series of

wide receivers that Nordame swung and missed on. Sean Terry looks pretty good now back when,

when he was verbally committed to the Irish. We'll get more into that, fellas. But just your

thoughts on Nordim coming up short with Derek Metals and Dylan Robinson.

Yeah, it's tough because it's, as you mentioned, it's not like those are the only ones

they've come up short on in this cycle. There's been a string of it. Once you started getting close

to Derek Rob, Derek Meadows situation, it's from the conversations I randomly had with his camp right before he, and this never happens for me because I don't do recruiting.

But for the conversations I had with the Meadows camp by proxy, they were getting convinced to look into Notre Dame.

That's when they delayed it.

I had that conversation four days before he delayed his announcement.

Then you just simply heard, I mean, it doesn't want to be at Notre Dame.

This is what it's coming down to.

It doesn't mean it doesn't like anything about Notre Dame.

It means there's a lot that goes on to being a Notre Dame student,

including where you're living and how the living conditions are compared to being a student in the SEC,
