Illustrated, John Bryce of Football Scoop and Pete Samson of the Athletic. I want to turn it over early here to

J.B. and Pete because Priester, we did an instant analysis via Zoom in the wake of Steve Angelly transferring out.

One of them was going to go.

It ended up being a guys.

We talked a little bit about how it started trending towards Angelly, but we didn't

think it would have started there had you asked us back in October.

I kind of wanted to get your thoughts on that.

Yeah, I was, I think that before spring, my thought was like, Angelly would start the year and they'd eventually get to Carr.

I also thought before spring that if there was one thing that could move the needle on this season, it would be Carr winning the job out of spring.

And it's not like that happened exactly.

But I think removing Steve Angelly from the equation for C.J. Carr is like the biggest

green light of green lights for where his development can go.

So as far as Steve Angelly goes, like the last week of spring practice when we got that open

practice and the blue goal game combined over essentially eight days, it was just like he's not

holding them off. It's just not going to happen. You know, so credit to Minci and Carr for really

coming in, not just getting Steve Angelly, but moving past

them.

I thought that would happen eventually for Carr, but I did not.

When spring started, I didn't think it would happen by mid-April.

So credit to Mincian Carr most of all for making that happen.

Yeah, I think it's got to be viewed as very liberating for Carr and Minci, but especially
