I'm Tim Mulmally joined today by Tim Priester of Irish Illustrated and John Bryce of both football scoop and Irish Illustrated.

And guys were two weeks away from the outset of Springball 2025.

Two of the three of us on this podcast met Marcus Freeman's two new coaches, Chris Ash and J. Wan Cider.

And since I was busy eating baguettes and buying an extra suitcase to bring home all the things we purchased on vacation,

I'll turn it over to you guys first, J.B.

I know Priester did an ISO, Irish Illustrated ISO podcast the day after the interviews.

JBA was wondering, is this your first impression of Ash and C cider, or had you met both or spoken with both in the past? I had met Ash in the past. It had

been several years. Had not met cider before, but we do have some mutual friends. And I talked to

Jared Parker recently about cider. Obviously, he spoke very, very glowingly of him.

I talked to some West Virginia people about him as well,

who liked him, like his energy,

like the way that he especially recruits.

That's the recurring theme when you talk about,

when you talk to people about cider,

just, you know, he really gets after it on the recruiting trail.

Now, one neat thing I found out is that as he got this new job at Notre Dame,

he not only met with all the running backs, but then had all the running backs give their

information, their parents' information to him so that he could reach out individually

to all the parents of the running back.

So I thought that was really neat.
