Welcome back to another edition of Irish Illustrated Insider.

I am Tim O'Malley, joined by Tim Priester of Irish Illustrated,

John Bryce of Football Scoop in Irish Illustrated, and Pete Samson of the Athletic.

We'll join us soon, and it's a good thing, guys,

because it might take four of us to talk about the surprisingly informative press conference today highlighted by general

manager Mike Martin. But thereafter, with John Wagle, the associate athletics director for sports

performance, and Rob Hunt, of course, the head football athletic trainer. Hunt gave us a lot

of information we're going to need for every spring practice report we do and we'll get back to

that later but i think a lot of listeners have wondered when we would hear from mike martin today was the

day and he's a very enjoyable interview they have they have hit it out of the park with guys you want

to talk to uh now it's important for chris ashe and juan cider and uh mr martin to do their

jobs for fans to like them because uh was an enjoyable conversation today with Mike Martin.

Yeah, I just want to remind everybody, we are going to skip segment two today with questions just because we didn't anticipate this press conference being what it was.

So we think you'll enjoy the information that we have here.

And for all of those that submitted questions, Tim, you've got a list of guys there that, yeah, that, uh, we'll get the full house back

field on, uh, not date to fell, maybe Mav 29 on Monday. They'll all get to hear it. They'll all get

their moment in the sun. Okay. Okay. Well, Mike Martin, I mean, we always talk about,

you know, first press conference and winning the press conference. He certainly, I mean, as gracious as a guy could be.

And clearly he's thrilled.

He's thrilled to be at Notre Dame.

I think that he's got a great deal of respect for.
