Nordame travels to Dublin on Wednesday.

We'll all be heading out at that time as well as Nordame takes on the Naval Academy.

We met with Marcus Freeman today for 30 minutes.

And I think we were talking about previewing the season here today, but I think there's so much meat on the bone with what we discussed with Marcus Freeman.

We're going to pop right into that.

Pat Coogan is the starting left guard.

Rocco Spindler is the starting right guard.

Gibran Payne is the number two running back.

Tim, were there any other surprise?

I don't think there are any other surprises on the depth chart that Notre Dame

released right before Marcus Freeman addressed the media.

No, we kind of touched on it.

There's plenty of surprises if this was June 15th, but none if it's August.

You know, we, but writing on the wall for Spindler has been there since week one, Coogan, week two and a half probably. I know, if he was ranked something different or had a different name, everybody in the world would think he was the number two running back because the coach tells you

that, the position coach tells you that and all the players talk about it and we see him lining up there

all the time. So I do think, and I don't want to steal Pete's words here on Gibran Payne, but I'm going

to anyway, Pete, because I know how you feel. I think he had a better camp is more consistent, and that is what they are leaning into.
