news yesterday, priestur, that Notre Dame received a pledge.

Legacy recruit, James Halter, son of Jordan Halter from the 89-93 range,

four-star Pittsburgh, Central Catholic Pennsylvania star.

And I know you did a film review on him yesterday, which I read.

And I have one question for you.

After all of that, is he one of those guys that Mike McGlinchie talks about where you're all tackles until you get there?

I like him a tackle.

I mean, I think anybody's a candidate for guard now with Joe Rudolph. He's, he, he, you know, is willing to put anybody anywhere to get him on the field. I'm not sure what I expected from James

Halter. Of course, I remember Jordan Halter. He, he never really became real prominent for them.

Pretty good line in 89 to 93, Notre Dame's different.

He was on some really, really good teams.

But what I found interesting was there, like there's video out there of Jordan teaching the Joe Moore line camp.

You know, so I mean his techniques are Joe Moore's techniques and Joe Moore's techniques are James Halter's techniques.

And he's really, really fundamentally sound.

I like, I especially like him in the ground game.

You know, he was a tight end recently until they moved to tackle.

And so he's just starting to add weight.

But he's really fundamentally sound pretty mechanical as a in pass protection.

And that's a, I think that, well, you can say mechanical or step, that can be a bad thing.

I think it's a pretty good thing because he's, he's just very fundamentally sound.
