Nordame v. Pittsburgh. This weekend in Heinz Field, Nordheim's first road trip.

Latest in the season in Nordame has had their first road trip since 1940. And that was a game at Pittsburgh.

You know what the outcome was? Nor Day fans don't want to know what the outcome of that game

was, but they do want to know what's going to happen this weekend at Heinz Field.

I thought you're going to say 12-7. It was 19 to nothing in favor of the home team.

But yeah, Nordame is a 10.5 point favorite.

I think that that is about right, largely because I think Pittsburgh is going to have more

trouble scoring than Notre Dame is, but Nordame obviously has their hands full.

I brought up to Brian Kelly, you know, two years ago in the second half, Ian Book, I believe

it was 13 for 15 for 15, 15,

for 158 yards, two touchdown passes, but Miles Boykin and Chase Claypole were the guys

catching the touchdown passes. And they won't be, well, maybe, maybe Claypool will be around

Heinz Field on Saturday. I'm not sure where they play this weekend, actually.

But it'll be a challenge for both teams offensively, more so for Pittsburgh.

But the Irish have their hands full with a pretty ferocious, a very ferocious defensive front.

Pittsburgh's defensive line did not get any worse from the summer.

In fact, they proved what we thought would

be the case, one of the best defensive lines of the country. But, boy, they're struggling

all around as a team. And, you know, as much as we talk about their ability to play press

coverage or desire to play press coverage, 16 gains of over 20 yards in these three-game losing streak.

That's a lot.
