It is Florida State Week, and we have a little bit more to talk about today than we anticipated.

With the news that came out Wednesday that Ian Book is dealing with a rib injury, We believe he's also dealing with a kidney issue.

And although Notre Dame has not declared him out for the football game this weekend,

and might not, Brian Kelly may or may not on Thursday,

we have ever reason to believe that he will not be performing this weekend.

I think we've declared him out collectively.

And probably Syracuse.

We've heard nothing that would indicate that he would be back for Syracuse either.

But just one step at a time.

It looks like Brandon Winbush moves into the starting lineup against a Florida state team that has struggled

defensively.

But one area where they have not struggled is against the run. And of course that's Brandon Wimbush's strength. So, plenty of talk about

here with regard to how Narday matches up with Brandon Wimbush, a quarterback. And, you know,

I had all these other things we're going to talk about, Drew Tranquil, and his amazing

recuperative ability, but I guess we'll leave that for

stories on Irish SocialStra.com and address mainly in this segment, and of course, in

segment two, Ian Book, and then Florida State and how Nordame matches up against Florida

State would win Bush of quarterback. Worse?

Yeah. Worse. Yeah. The analysis right there?? Yeah. It's, I mean, you know, Florida State's not as good as Syracuse, and you could argue that Notre Dame is going to have a harder time beating Syracuse without Ian Buck than he would Winbush. However, you need fewer points to beat Florida State than you need to beat Syracuse, and I think Brandon Winbush can come up with a few touchdowns

like he has. He's 24, 24, 22, three touchdowns in the three games he played this year.
