Friday edition of the That Chapter podcast. Today, for you folks, I have the story of Ireland's

Ayrlands' Vanishing Triangle. I mean, I say it kind of jokingly like that, but it is legitimately,

I think, Ireland's most disturbing mystery.

What happened was that during the 1990s, there was a startling number of young women who just completely disappeared.

And they've never been found to this very day. I mean, obviously, me and Keith are both Irish.

I grew up, I grew up hearing about these women

if you're just going missing. It was just very, very creepy thing that was kind of always going on

in the background of my childhood. Because overall Ireland, it's a very safe country. So this has

always just been very, I mean, Ireland is very safe, but also is this kind of creepy element to

it. I think that ghosts and that kind of shit.

So this happening definitely just simply added to that.

And were there many killers out there?

Was there just one killer out there?

We simply don't know what happened, you know, in the case of all of these disappearances

where they linked or no. It gets to name Ireland's Vanishing Triangle in the case of all of these disappearances where they linked or no?

It gets to name Ireland's Vanishing Triangle because the majority of these cases happened in this, well, triangular area from close to the, like, the border of Northern Ireland in County Louth, down to the bottom in, like, Wexford, and then to like Kilkenny Carlo.

That's, it's like all on the eastern side of the country.

It's truly a disturbing case though.

It's probably, like I said, the most infamous in Ireland, and it's still commonly discussed

to this very day.
