Summary

A ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon has just come into effect. Iran’s Foreign Minister says 'in line with the ceasefire in Lebanon, the passage for all commercial vessels through Strait of Hormuz is declared completely open for the remaining period of ceasefire'. Freddy Gray is joined by Spectator contributor Charlie Gammel, an expert on Iran, to discuss the negotiations and why they originally broke down plus what a post-conflict Iran could look like.

1:54.4

have put a bit of pressure on the Israelis to come up with the ceasefire on Lebanon, which is a key concern for Iran and others.

2:27.5

And then the talks broke down over the sort of previous round in Islamabad, in large part due to Iran's concerns about Hezbollah.
