I'm Tom Batchez, speaking to David Albright, my guide for many years on the Iranian suspect nuclear

weapons program, and we're looking at bomb damage assessment, but I turn to personnel as well.

Reuters, Iran is looking to restore its nuclear industry.

This is a statement from a man who's described

Mohammed Estami, the Iran nuclear chief. He said, according to his news, the plan is to prevent

interruptions in the process of production and services. Very ambiguous remark. In any event,

it points out the fact that nothing's going to happen unless there's

leadership and capabilities of the teams, the technicians, the scientists, and the experimenters

who built these facilities over many years. Most all of them I'm familiar with on the basis of the

list of the KIA were trained as physicists in Russia. And that's important here because Russia's basis of the list of the KIA, were trained as physicists in Russia.

And that's important here because Russia is part of the supply chain of nuclear weaponers

around the world. David, without going through their names, was this the top of their leadership?

And are they sufficiently deep to regenerate this with their deputies?

It's certainly senior people, and many link to SP&D, some link to a mod or worked in a mod.

And there's some that are related to centrifuge, but it is an elite.

And I think they can be replaced in the long run, but in the short run, it's very difficult. So I think what Israel was trying to do

there, and I haven't spoken to them at all about this, and I certainly don't approve of going after the scientists.

But I think they were trying to answer this question, will Iran rebuild or move to build a bomb quickly after a military strike?

And I think this was part of what they did that makes it very unlikely Iran will move to build a bomb.

I mean, they also, as I mentioned,

in previous segment, attacking the facilities needed to make the bomb itself. So they were trying

to disrupt things, cause chaos, disrupt the leadership of these programs, scare others. I mean,
