Schanser, the Foundation for the Defense of democracies, who can help me understand

discord in the reporting from the Middle East. The Fear of the Water War, well we have a the headed to Turkey, we're told, now hijacked pirated by the Iranian Navy off of the Gulf

of Oman taken to an Iranian port.

At the same time we have the Secretary of State Mr. Blinkin traveling

around the region saying the road ahead is a two-state solution led by the

Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.

Jonathan, a very good evening to you.

I catch up on these details and then I try to put them all in line.

These two facts do not go together.

Can you help me understand the State Department? Is it behind?

Is it denying the facts of Iran's depredation? What is the State Department to make of the fact that the driver for all

of this conflict is Tehran? Well, John, it's a good question. I don't exactly

understand the position of the State Department right now.

Because when we look at the broader picture here, we see that Iran has lit fires across the region.

There have been 27 different attacks by the Huthies on maritime vessels transiting the Red Sea.

There are 126 different attacks that have been registered by Shiite militias in Iraq and Syria against American bases.

There is this now act of piracy that we see in the Gulf of Oman.

What it really looks like is that the Iranians, through their proxies
