where we look back on the news of the week,

and oh, what a week it was,

where we went from the brink of war with Iran to all-out war between Nancy Pelosi and Mitch McConnell over articles of impeachment.

In Iran, after the assassination of Iran's top general Osam Soleimani and a shower of Iranian rockets on a military base in Iraq,

it appears that both Iran and the United States have

backed down from any more attacks, but will the stand down last? Meanwhile, the House does

clip the president's wings on taking any more military action against Iran. And on the impeachment

front, Mitch McConnell says he's got the votes,

so he doesn't have to haggle with Nancy Pelosi on any rules for the Senate trial of President Trump.

He says, let the trial begin. So much to talk about and here to make some sense of it all.
