and it can basically be summed up as it wasn't us. It certainly was a

Shia militia group which claimed responsibility for striking the American

military base in Jordan and groups like this are funded and supplied by Iran. But speaking on

state television the country's Intelligence Minister Ishmaelhateeb seemed to

distance Iran from the operation insisting those who did it operated at

their own discretion. Perhaps Iran is getting nervous about how the US will

respond to the attacks. Have no doubt, said President Biden Biden we will hold all those responsible

to account at a time and in a manner of our choosing.

Meanwhile Britain's Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke in a rather more diplomatic less threatening
